I’m here to say: life can be both difficult and I’m here to say: life can be both difficult and joyful at the same time. Learn to hold space for both. Parenting in the midst of a global pandemic is really challenging. Give yourself and your kids plenty of grace. If you feel like making yourself a wonky half birthday cake (🙋🏼‍♀️), I fully endorse that. I also highly recommend keeping baked cakes and cookie dough in your freezer at all times. For the love of children and vulnerable folks (and their caretakers / loved ones), please get vaccinated.
